Ok, after much thinking and mail, We are planning on keeping ANSI.
The bugs should be worked out, and life returns to semi-normal :-)

With ANSI, comes a greater responsibility of programmers and other uses of this priviledge. The escape character can be dangerous when misused. Any person misusing this, will be dealt with (but not limited to):

Lost of Programmers bit
Being @chparented to $player
Being Toaded.

So, let's all work on making BayMOO a safe, colorful MOO :-)
