Welcome to Delphi! This is a beautiful spot in a high mountain which looks southward over the Corinthian Gulf. You can enter temple to go to the famous shrine of Apollo to see the oracle, but be sure to look temple first! The path that leads to the Temple of Delphi, called the Sacred Way, winds up a slope. It is adorned with statues, porticoes, and treasures(mineiature temples built in the sacred precincts) by Greek cities as repositories for their funds, or as their individual tributes to the god, Apollo.
