Here sits a painting, lovingly crafter by a hand that knew but little skill and a lot of love. It sits on a simple, gold stand that blends in, somehow, with the surrounding foliage. In the center of the painting, smiling into your eyes, is a young woman, her hair long and gleaming gold in the sun, her eyes blue and spread wide in laughter. Her arm is around another woman, their hair color nearly the same, the second woman's eyes perhaps a touch more blue, the same laughter on their faces. Laughing, both of them. Below, written into the paint: "Diana, my love, my darling... I will always remember you laughing. I will always remember you dancing. I will always remember you."
