Rk's Office

You slowly open the door. It creaks loudly. As you glance around the room you decide it is safe to tip-toe in. To the right of you is a window in which you can barely see out. The thick blue drapes, slightly open so that a ray of sun shines through, dress the window reverently. To your right, you see another window. Old paint chips are visibly seen on the floor. The blue drape pulled back reveals the vivid autumn leaves of a Maple tree. You can just barely smell the crispness of autumn seeping through the window, which is open ever so slightly. A gentle breeze sweeps into the office once in a while. To the back of the room is an old book case. It looks ancient. The books are covered with dust, apparently someone doesn't like to read very much. Beside the book case, is a desk. You see a computer and a nice swivel chair. Papers are dishoveled all over it. A pen and pencil are neatly placed in some type of a holder, which is also a paperweight. You glance under the desk and see a waste basket and a pair of old worn-out Nike shoes. Scrunched up papers fill the basket, few are strewn on the dark blue carpet. On the wall sorda opposite of the desk is a huge picture of a bald eagle. The eagle looks strong and proud, yet graceful. Looking at it, you feel that it demands your respect. The eagle picture has a rich beautiful gold frame. Below it, you see a plush love seat. On the carpet, in front of the love seat is a off-white throw rug. You notice it matches the paint of the window sills. A wonderful aroma fills your nostrils. It is the smell of the autumn wind mixed pleasantly with the antique smell of the room and freshly baked chewy chocolate chip cookies. A few other miscallaneous items are here as well. You feel as though you want to stay here, but can't. There is a mysterious, powerful feeling in the room. A sense of a wizard's presence.
