The Well of Saint-Forts

Saints-Forts is the name of this ancient well, situated directly below the central nave of the cathedral! It is a Gallo-Roman construction and was the focus points of the Druidic sanctuary before the Romans arrived. Later on some Viking invaders dumped unfortunate dead bodies in it. One can peer inside and see strange things.
