Campo dei Vampiri

Swirling mists cloak the surrounding palazzos, blending into the walls, the carved benches, of grey granite and white marble. The dark waters of the Flusso del Sangue flow along the northern edge of the square. A great mass of ivy creeps over one garden wall. White roses, luminous as pearls, red roses, bright as beating hearts, blossom in the mists. In the center of the campo stands a statue of red granite. The cloaked figure raises its arm, sweeping the stone folds of the cape about it. Its form utterly concealed beneath cloak and hood, still the statue's stone gaze watches your every movement.

a mad poet is here.
