Starfleet Command
This is the central gallery of Starfleet Command, the nerve center of the entire Starfleet. Decisions affecting worlds across thousands of light years all originate from within these walls. Officers, foreign dignitaries, and other visitors hurry to and fro: there is a bustle of activity here at all hours of the day--it would be unusual if there weren't. The ceiling, at a cathedral height, is comprised of a series of translucent skylights set at an angle to the floor. The light that filters in through them casts a white glow on the interior, which is spartan in decoration. An enormous Starfleet flag hangs down from the ceiling in the center of the hall. Numerous potted plants also draw the eye's attention at ground level.
