The Parthenon
You stand before a great temple, dedicated to the God Athena. It stands 228 feet long, 101 feet wide, and 58.5 feet tall, built by Pericles, leading statesman of Athens' golden age. Before you, at the entrance, stands 46 tall, sturdy Doric collumns. made of Pentelic marble, white and strong.
