The Vampyre Theatre Foyer

You have entered the grand foyer of The Vampyre Theatre. Space and time within these walls seem to comply with the same alien laws that the TARDIS - of Dr. Who fame - subscribes to. The huge, sweeping ceiling arches hundreds of feet above your head, held up by towering, marble pillars inlaid with visions of The Fall. A breathtaking, hand-painted mural completely covers the entirety of the ceiling, and depicts dark, angelic creatures winging their spectacular way through the twilight clouds. To the north lies a small, closed door. Stepping through will cause you to find yourself in Morrigen's realm. A darkened corridor looms from the shadows; traversing its chill path will gain you entrance to Andrew's resting place. Positioned in the eastern wall is another doorway; this one draped with layers of soft, black silk. Tread carefully, for beyond lies the affairs of LadyVampyress... Evil smelling smoke wafts from an ornately railed pit, situated in the middle of the foyer. From its depths echo the sounds of muttering voices and an occasional skittering of small bones on wood. A small, mahogany jukebox hides in one of the southern corners of the theatre, playing the 'Scratchy Record Mix' of Bauhaus' 'Bela Lugosie's Dead' through hidden speakers situated around the walls. There is a skeletal, spiralling staircase in the southern corner opposite the jukebox, ascending into an opening in the distant roof, and darkness...
